Accommodation is provided in the main Homestead which has been completely updated but still has the old charm of the original Station Homestead.
Bookings are for a minimum of 3 nights or a minimum of 4 nights running from a week before to a week after each Holiday period (Christmas/New Year and Easter).
The rate per night is $720 from 1 Oct to 31 May – price on application outside of those dates.
The rate covers the use of the whole Homestead which can sleep up to 8 Guests in four separate bedrooms.
There is a separate charge for cleaning of $150 per stay and any excessive Cleaning or Breakages will incur additional charges.
The Homestead
There is a comfortable lounge as you enter that has a huge log burner and comfy seats to chill out after your days activities – we supply all firewood from our own sustainable shelter belt ….
Through the French doors is the huge dining room with magnificent 10 seater Rimu Slab table and views out over the valley
Kitchen and coffee bar – double stoves, dishwasher, fridge freezers and all the other appliances you would expect from a modern kitchen. We supply coffee, tea, powdered milk, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, foil, cling wrap, cooking oil, dish washing liquid, towels and dishwasher soap
‘The Shed’ …. sun-room with more comfy chairs and flat screen TV and Freeview. We also have Farmside broadband – due to the high cost of having satellite broadband, usage for this is charged separately at their rates.
There are two separate bathrooms each containing toilet, basin and walk-in showers – hot water is via a gas califont so you never run out. The main bedroom has an additional en-suite with its own Toilet and basin.
Our water is from a Mountain Spring which is filtered and passes through an additional UV light process. It is tested regularly and comes back with extremely good results – some of the purest you will taste.
Sleeping Arrangements
Main Bedroom – Queen bed with an en-suite.
Inside Bedroom – King bed that can be configured for two king singles.
Outside Bedroom front – Views of the valley and ‘Mount Doom’. two single beds.
Outside Bedroom back – More private and views to ‘the Dell’. King bed that can be configured for two singles.
All Linen and towels are supplied. We also supply soap, toilet paper and washing machine powder.
